Police ki gaadiya kuch bas aa ja rahi thi aur kuch utsahit log jo milkar vichar vimarsh kar rahe the unhe bhaga rahi thi.

In sab ke bich ek insaan chala ja raha tha sadak pe- Bhura. Woh har dukaan ko dhyan se dekhte hue ja raha tha. Ratse me Pipal ke ped niche kuch log apni motorcycle ke saath khade the. Ek hoshiyar vyakti ne haath se ishara karte hue dhaad mari "Oye..Kaha ja raha hai???" Bhura nazdik aake bola "Dairy khuli hogi aas paas kahi?" Wohi utsahit yuvak ne jawab diya "Abe murakh. Aaj bandh hai sab. Kuch nai khula hai. Ghar ja nai to kuch hi der me police logo ko danad maar haga degi" Bhura ja hi raha tha tab ek sajjan ne kaha "Agli gali me tisra ghar hai. Uski dukaan ka shutter bandh hoga. Par baju me chota darwaja khol ke jana, piche hi uska ghar hai" Bhura dhanyvad keh ke nikla aur dairy pe pahoncha. Usne 15 rs ka Doodh liya aur chupchap apne ghar wapis aaya.

Ghar me ghuste hi myaw myaw ki awaaz aane lagi. Bhura doodh ki theli daan se hi tod bahar rakhi katori me sara doodh daal diya. Uski patni bahar aake gusse me boli "Sheher me dange ho rahe hai aur aap bina soche ye lene gaye the". Bhura kuch nai bolta bas billi ko doodh pite dekhte rehta hai. Jab patni chillake kehti hai "Curfew laga hai, smajte ho na iska matlab?". Bhura kehta hai "Mai to samjta hu, par ye bezubaan billi kaha samjhegi. Kabhi sochta hu ham jyada samjdaar hue insaan bankar ya jaanvar hue jyada samajdar bankar".

Nemavar, MP is Center point of Rewa (Narmada). Sharan is 5 kms away from Nemawar. The place has natural energy in surrounding.

Rameshbhai, The local hero. He has done farming and taken crop for one year on the banks of Narmada with single tool. And that to without any fertilizers.

Pratik and Kunal both were worth meeting. The Sharing of ideas at the end of the day was thought provoking.From herbal Tea to Shatur (Strawberry of poor), Cooking meal to Listening Kabir. Every moment was mesmerizing. Vatsal, your variety of dishes is delicious. 

                                             

From Punning to making Amrit jal, Ganga ma mandal to piping in 10 acre i learnt as per my understanding. Dipak Dada asked me to work for 2 days in farm, and in return he gave me money for fuel for next destination. First hard earned money always feels great.

When you are on right path, Destiny plans in way you to meet Good Samaritan. The experience at Sharan makes you to come back again.

Saha-Astitva

We exist in this world along with Nature. Co-existentialism is middle way of idealism & materialism. Too heavy huh.. if you get it right, its as easy as cakewalk.

Manav Chetna Vikas Kendra : Pivdai-  18 kms from Indore. Group of families are living together to experience and study co-existentialism. "Swavlamban is the key concept they are working to achieve saha-Astitva. They grow vegetables, grain, fruits, have "Gau-shala". Basic needs are satisfied from the place only.

Engineers do think out of the box. Not stereotyping them :P But in this case it is true. Ajay Dayma Ji- who is a n engineer quit his job started this center with his wife Mrs. Varsha Dayma. Both are lovely people.









Every member of family who lives here works in center. They have different responsibility to perform. But when it comes to help they are always open. Each family is from different parts of India. They Plant, cook,eat live together. They learn new skills and not just survive but grow everyday.

I was fortunate to be part of "Fasal katai" of wheat crop. Everybody learned how to perform that and by the end of the day mastered it :)

When discussion continued with Ajay ji on Jhabua issue, he narrated this is very small issue. Take example of Punjab. It is very rich in Agriculture and so on Wealth. Now a days Drugs is biggest issue they are fighting with. So if Jhabua people take more steps towards Agriculture and cultivate more is not going to solve the issue. On the contrary, Bihar is a state where income is very low where crime rate is high because of survival issue. Ultimately, when you don's have wisdom what basic needs are and what you compromising on that is key to suffering.

















As the name goes, the efforts here are for enlightenment. When discussions are healthy, outcome is meant to be fruitful. It was Lovely time with all. Thanks for the Gifts and care.

Bhagoriya

It's always enriching going back to roots. Festival, colors, People, Tribe, culture, Love.

Bhagoriya- 7 days festival prior to Holi celebrated by Bhil and Bhilala communities in Madhya Pradesh. The Festival Bhagoriya is mass swayamvar where people gather in large number and initiate the process of finding Bride and Groom. Meanwhile if they have already chosen bride, the Groom apply Gulal on bride's face in Bhagoriya. Otherwise they propose the unknown girl by doing so or in some case their friends or family approaches girl's family if boy likes her. The festival literary means "Bhag"-run away. The festival has also Open market of vegetables, fruits, toys, jewelry, Rides and all. Full on Mela. It is celebrated at different places in Jhabua and Alirajpur District of MP. Both are border district which shares boarder with Gujarat and Maharashtra.

Tribals are roots of India. They are still not fully modernize and thus they are attached to mother nature which they worship. Now a days, people are migrated to Guajarat for livelihood. Basically all tribal people are in to Agriculture. They take only once season crop and then migrate to Gujarat for Labor Work. On Bhagoriya, they come down to their respective place in MP and spend all money they have earned.

I was fortunate to witness it in four places. Pitol & Kalyanpura in Jhabua, Sondva and Jhobut in Alirajpur. Even both district have some difference in celebration Bhagoriya. Jhabua district has more Mela culture where Rides are more. On the other hand Alirajpur has more people interaction than Rides. Also they come in group with same dresses (And we thought we celebrate Group day in colleges only :P). In bhagoriya they were all silver ornaments as an expression to show how much they have. There are Self made Toll booth on the way. Basically the boys stop you when you are passing from their village and ask for 10 rs. Once you give 10 rs, They will clear your way. This is done only during Holi Time.

They get married at the age of 15-18. The reason behind getting married early is strange. If a boy run away with girl then boy's family has to pay 3 to 4 lacs to Girl's family. To avoid the situation they get married early.

They drink Tadi which is sweet when fresh and sour later. Liqour is major issue of distruction in this rigion. Imagine a 118 crore auction amount for liquor shop license. Mostly to supply in Gujarat as its dry state and secondly for their own consumption.

The Jhabua-Bhagoriya journey is only possible because of Bhukan Sinh. Teacher at Vanvaasi Ashram. Interacted with students from sixth to 10^th. They are more aware of the situation. I hope they are change Agent for better tomorrow. Spent lovely time while staying with them. We went to holika Dahan where they dance with dhol around holi.finally bid goodbye to them.
